I need your help!

I have this architectural element I salvaged recently but I am at a loss for what I can do with it.  It looks like a column but it needs something on it.  I just don't know what.  I have been searching blogs to find some inspiration.

Sorry it was already dark when I took the picture.  I look forward to hearing your ideas!

  1. You could turn it sideways or leave it vertical and put hooks in it. What you are hanging on it will determine whether you use it vertical or horizontal. Stopping by from Wow Us Wednesday.

  2. Is this a collom? I would paint it white or cream, put pegs or hooks on it and hang decorative things, prop up in a corner, hope this helps

  3. Hi! You could put a pretty applique up top. I love this place http://doityourselfchic.com/Architectural-Floral-Appliques_c8.htm and hang a wire basket with flowers, a wreath, hooks or stars. Your possibilities are endless! How fun! I'm a new fan of yours. Please stop by bellanest.blogspot.com any time!

  4. All I would do is hang it on the wall just as it is. It's a beautiful salvage piece and can hold it's own as a decorating element for sure!
